Peripheral Artery Disease: United States Endovascular Procedures by Site of Service 2015-2040
The primary purpose of this research is to estimate the percentage and number of peripheral artery disease (PAD) patients undergoing endovascular revascularization by site of service. The three main sites of service are hospital inpatient, hospital outpatient department (HOPD), and the office-based laboratories (OBLs) and ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) category.
All percentage estimates were derived from reviews of the peer-reviewed literature. THE SAGE GROUP’S 2015-2040 prevalence of PAD, critical limb ischemia (CLI) and intermittent claudication (IC) is the starting point for this model-based, market analysis.
The analysis includes the number of PAD patients and limbs undergoing endovascular revascularization by site of service. Market estimates by site of service for the 2015-2040 period are provided in 5-year increments.
The number of endovascular patient and limb procedures performed in each site is estimated separately by disease severity for those with CLI and IC.
